The Lead Generation &amp; Outreach Virtual Assistant will help Smithwood Builders expand its network of custom residential architects and designers. Your primary goal will be to research appropriate professionals, initiate thoughtful outreach, and schedule one-on-one conversations with Smithwood's owner. You may also assist with follow-up communication, contact management, and social media content that helps prospective partners become familiar with the company's work. This is not a high-pressure sales role. Success requires professional, personalized communication and the ability to present Smithwood as a knowledgeable, trustworthy potential building partner. Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Research custom residential architects and designers throughout Greater Vancouver.</li><li>Identify professionals whose projects and clientele align with Smithwood's capabilities.</li><li>Build and maintain an organized prospect list with accurate contact information.</li><li>Conduct personalized outreach through email, LinkedIn, telephone, and social media.</li><li>Introduce Smithwood's services, project experience, and partnership approach clearly and professionally.</li><li>Schedule qualified introductory meetings between architects and Smithwood's owner.</li><li>Follow up consistently without using overly aggressive sales tactics.</li><li>Record contacts, conversations, follow-up dates, and outcomes accurately.</li><li>Nurture long-term relationships with architects and design professionals.</li><li>Assist with organizing and publishing company content on LinkedIn, Instagram, or other relevant channels.</li><li>Track outreach activity and provide regular progress reports.</li><li>Learn Smithwood's portfolio, values, service area, and ideal project profile.Monitor municipal building permit applications and issued permits to identify new residential construction opportunities, including projects where the listed architect or designer may be a strong fit for Smithwood's outreach program.</li><li>Research permit details and conduct targeted follow-up with relevant homeowners, builders, architects, and design professionals to generate potential sales leads while expanding Smithwood's network of architect relationships.</li></ul> Qualifications<ul><li>Strong spoken and written English communication skills for professional business outreach.&nbsp;</li><li>Previous experience in outreach, appointment setting, business development, lead generation, or executive assistance.</li><li>Comfortable initiating telephone and video conversations with senior professionals.</li><li>Strong LinkedIn research, email outreach, and online research skills.</li><li>Able to write personalized messages rather than relying exclusively on generic templates.</li><li>Organized, self-directed, dependable, and consistent with follow-up.</li><li>Comfortable maintaining spreadsheets, contact databases, or CRM-style records.</li><li>Social media or content coordination experience is an asset.</li><li>Experience with architecture, construction, design, or professional services is an asset.</li><li>Reliable computer, high-speed internet connection, and a quiet professional workspace.</li><li>Availability for agreed-upon hours that overlap with the Pacific Time Zone.</li></ul> Pay and Benefits<ul><li>Part-time remote schedule, potentially beginning at approximately 20 hours per week.</li><li>Pay: $8 - $12 USD per hour, based on relevant experience and qualifications.&nbsp;</li><li>Opportunity to grow the position as the outreach program develops.</li><li>Direct collaboration with the company's owner.</li><li>Exposure to premium residential construction, architecture, and design.</li></ul> Why Smithwood Builders?Smithwood Builders offers the opportunity to represent a respected company with an impressive portfolio and a genuine commitment to doing excellent work.
